RECEPTIONISTS – No positions currently available
Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparing and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling prescriptions, over-the-counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance. Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties.
VETERINARY TECHNICIANS/ASSISTANTS – No positions currently available
Technicians and Assistants are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs.
ASSOCIATE VETERINARIANS – Now Hiring
The associate veterinarians are the heart of the Telford Veterinary Hospital practice. They are responsible for the extremely high level of direct medical care which is provided to each and every patient and client that visits the hospital. They are skilled practitioners in surgical services, physical examinations, and diagnoses as well as excellent resources for animal behavior, pet selection, and preventive veterinary care for your loved ones
- Telford Veterinary Hospital is a Fear Free Certified Practice in search of a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their growing veterinary team, the practice is nestled in the beautiful Indian Valley less than an hour north of Philadelphia. The ideal candidate must have a heart for animals, a passion for veterinary medicine, and a mind focused on delivering exceptional client service.
- We are a fast-paced, small animal practice providing wellness/preventative/sick care, advanced in-house diagnostics, surgical procedures, digital radiology, dental care, therapeutic laser therapy, behavioral training, and hospice/end-of-life care for dogs, cats, and pocket pets. We have a close-knit, family-oriented team that includes two incredible doctors and an excellent technical/support staff. We believe in creating and maintaining a strong work-life balance and as such, candidates will work an average of 35-hour weeks with no Sundays, no holidays, and no after-hours emergencies. Strong mentoring is available as we continue to improve and grow together so new grads are welcome to apply.

- Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
- Pennsylvania State Veterinary licensure in good standing
- Current Fear Free Certification preferred, required within 90 days of the start date
- Though experience is preferred, new grads are absolutely welcome to grow with us
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of veterinary medicine
- Must be a team player with a strong desire to build and maintain client relationships
