PUBLIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS

In an effort to forward the hospital's mission to the our clients and the community, Telford Veterinary Hospital regularly offers programs that are open to public covering a very diverse group of pet health and care issues, concerns and general information.  A listing of programs will be provided here with pertinant information, if you are interested in signing up for a program please click the REGISTER NOW under the respective class to submit your registration request online. PUPPY AND KITTEN SOCIALIZATION CLASSES

Date: Classes run every 7 weeks & last for 5 consecutive weeks
Time:  Thursday Evening from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm
Cost:  $50.00 for the 5 week class payable on the first evening (a $40.00 off spay/neuter coupon is awarded after successfully completing all 5 socialization classes)

BASIC OBEDIENCE - AKC CANINE GOOD CITIZENSHIP
Date: Classes run every 10 weeks & last for 7 consecutive weeks
Time:  Monday Evenings from 6:00 to 7:00
Cost:  $140.00 for the 6 week class payable on the first evening (The AKC Good Citizenship Certification Test may be taken for $25.00 without completing the Basic Obedience class)

AMERICAN RED CROSS PET FIRST AID

Date:  Scheduled as needed
            Classes can be scheduled for animal rescue organizations, civic groups, church groups, pet owners and scout troops                                       Time:  2 hours
Cost:  $60.00  (Cost includes participant workbook, DVD and first aid kit)

FACILITY TOURS & HOSPITAL TRAINING

Date:  Scheduled as needed (Tours & training are scheduled for scout troops, church youth groups, civic groups, animal rescue organizations and pet owners)            
Time:  Scheduled for between 30 and 60 minutes
Cost:  Free based on availability
